The main objective of this project was to create a powerful point-of-sale experience to increase brand recognition and influence purchases. Using the latest transparent display technology, the clear cooler door was transformed into a wonderland of cool refreshment. I designed and animated this poster design and put it on a cooler to mock up what it would look like on an LG-Cooler Screen.
Design Process
Creating the Concept
The paper parade concept will have the drinks being paraded across the screen on floats that are seemingly made out of paper. The drinks would also be followed around with the fruits that are a part of their ingredient. This concept allows different drinks to be showcased individually, showing the viewers old classic drinks to newer ones.

Adjusting the Design
An obstacle that came from this project was designing the parade float in a way that reflected the drink itself and the ingredients in it. The initial design of the float was lacking. In order to solve this, ingredients from the drink were added to the float in order to make it more exciting.
For example, there is “a dash of spirulina extract” in the Bolt from the Blue drink, which is the green that surrounds the drink. The flowers are White Guava flowers which were added because there are 3/4 of crushed white guava in the drink. A lot of the main ingredients can be found pulling the parade float into place and along the bottom of the animation.

The next step is making sure the animation works well on an LG cooler screen. The best way to see if the animation would work is to create a mock-up that would simulate the animation in a real-life environment.

After getting the animation down, it was all about cleaning up the background and tweaking the animation so it had a little bit more life in it.
